Sales of my booklets, drawings, and other creative works help support my efforts to educate the public about permaculture. (Permaculture is a set of nature-based principles for creating sustainable human environments. To find out more, visit my permaculture site.)
I see an intense beauty in seemingly mundane objects and ordinary moments, and set out to capture that beauty in my tiny drawings. About 6 inches by 6 inches is the largest I go — in my drawings, anyway! When I’m painting a mural or set-piece, the sky’s the limit.
My drawing media of choice are pen-and-ink and colored pencil. For murals and set-pieces, I use water-based acrylic paints, preferably salvaged from yard sales, curbside, or the county landfill’s paint depot.
Or, to commission a piece, drop me a line at jnazak at yahoo dot com and tell me what you have in mind. I generally charge about $100 for a commissioned piece.
